Northern Polar Map using the Universal Polar Stereographic Projection
Compressed KML (KMZ) is not supported. The GeoRSS option only supports single point (pushpin) markers. Files larger than 5MB are rejected and will not be plotted.
The Universal Polar Stereographic Projection is a special case of the polar aspect of the Stereographic Projection. It is intended to be used with the Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) system, but for regions above 84°N or below 80°S.
