World Map using the Eckert VI Projection
KML and GeoRSS overlays are disabled for this projection because it is not currently supported by the proj4js library. proj4js is used by OpenLayers to re-project data.
The Eckert VI Projection is an equal area pseudo-cylindrical projection with sinusoidal meridians. Further information can be found on the Eckert IV & VI Projections information page.
